Family

At the beginning of 2025 my son Nikhil was born and I became a father for the first time. It has been the most wonderful, exhausting, exciting, terrifying experience so far, and I feel like my wife and I are learning every day. Kimchi (our cat) is still undecided.

Photography

This year I published my latest street photography zine, W12. Copies are still available on my photography shop and the full digital gallery is hosted here . It’s a project that means a lot to me, and I’m super happy with how it has turned out. I’m still shooting around the W12 area and have a big backlog from the last couple of years, so potentially a volume two will follow.

In the summer I will be participating in a London-based workshop with Greg Mo . After an excellent workshop with Gustavo Minas in Bologna last year, I’m excited to continue learning with photographers who inspire me.

I was also involved in the recent Still in Spring exhibition at Float, East London alongside many talented photographers, curated by Mark Luke Grant . The exhibition run has no finished, but we’re all working on the next chapter, Still in Summer.

Work

I’ve been working at Cleo for around a year and a half now as a senior product engineer in the chat pillar. After my first stint of paternity leave, I’m back at work and have been working on our new rebrand and a bunch of future chat enhancements.

Travel

In May, my wife and I took Nikhil to Paris for his first trip abroad. While travelling with a five-month baby is not as easy as it was for us before, we made it work and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Later in the year, during my second stint of paternity leave, we’re hoping to take Nikhil to his second home - Bangalore, India - for the first time.

Reading and Listening

I haven’t had as much time to read as much as usual so far this year (related to the beginning update 👀), but I have been browsing more and more photo books. Currently on the coffee table is Modern Color by Fred Herzog and India by Steve McCurry.

Still obsessed with the latest Fontaines D.C. and Mount Kimbie albums from last year. Trying to stop listening to so many podcasts and focus on new music. The new Turnstile album is a great time!
